It snowed....... on Easter Sunday :P

Yes, thats right..... we have had snow.... on Easter Sunday.....

We had snow today to.... LOTS and LOTS well about 2 inches which is lots and lots for here :P..... was up and dressed and at the park by 8.30am... made a snow throne, snowman, had snowball fights, easter egg hunts in the snow... some fab piccies....;) and then came home, changed and dried off and then up to the farm for serious sledging... they had about 4 inches... I feel like Ive walked for miles...... it was fab fun tho ;) C and I went crashing into a fence at one point, laughs all round...... it was brill fun.... when the girls went to bed they said - it was the BEST EASTER EVER.... which completely made my day... especially as I am feeling pants now.... still not recovered from lurgy - 6 weeks tomorrow :( and hence why Ive been such a bad blogger - sorry guys - right off to watch a film and chill to recover... will hopefully have enough energy tomorrow to upload photos.... ;)

Acceptance Speech

Not feeling great, :(, got the lurgy.... just a quick post with my smile of the day.... following on from Rach I was asked to do an acceptance speech for my 7,000th post.... so here it is...

Oh my, Oh my, I'm sorry, I'm overwhelmed..... This moment is so much bigger than I thought it would be me. This moment is amazing. This moment means so Much.......It's for me and the women that stand beside me, my chocolicious chicks, Rach, Andie, Suzie, Karen, Leigh, Paddy, Alison, Vicky and Joanne. Thank you. I'm so honored. I'm so honored. And I thank UKS for choosing me to be the vessel for which this blessing might flow. Thank you.I want to thank my manager. My laptop, He'e been with me three long years and fought every fight and loved me when I've been up, but more importantly loved me when I've been down, he;s let me spill choc crumbs on him, cry on him.... You have been a manager, a friend, and so much more. Really. And I love you very much. Smile a Day.....

Some of the chicks on the team were feeling down yesterday, must be something in the air, as I was too..... I saw Helen and she was feeling down too - we reckon its the weather... anywho - we have decided to write down a 'thing' a day to cheer us up - either something that has made us smile or something to be thankful for....... so here goes...

Have got two for today.....

1st smile was a post by Rach on the team thread... it was her 6,000 post and made me giggle. she sang Happy 6,000 post to herself and then give a speech of thanks - sooo funnny....

2nd smile was on UKS again, Jen was saying about her scarf wearing and it appears that teenager Tich has given her a hickey on her neck - so I was saying about wearing a snood to cover it and it will take her back to her teens..... so she asked if I had one - so I googled a picture and the first page of pictures were of dogs in snoods.... SO funny

Fab weekend......

Elaine,Simon and Jonathan came to stay for the weekend and brought little Millie with them too, she was very good, Copper and Pippin are exhausted today tho and have spent most of the day sleeping after playing with Millie all weekend and not getting any peace and quiet to snooze;)

Had a lovely weekend, Helen,Keith and and the girls came over too and we had a lovely time, just like the old days, the kids all played nicely together, we went on a lovely walk on Saturday and then chilled on Sunday.... had a competition on the Wii with Mario Olympics for the adults on Saturday night..... it was fun, the lads were very competitive tho;) I decided after last weekends takeaway and me putting a lb on that I would do the cooking... Andy made homemade lemon meringue on Sunday and custard icecream which was very yummy.....

Weighed in today and had lost 2lbs.... very chuffed...... after this weeks lose (yep I counting on another lose :P) I will eventually be back under the next stone like I was before the new scales arrived ;) so I need to stay nice and motiviated...... am going to have a think of some yummy things to have for tea......

Nicole has started a swimming course, Little Dippers, as is doing fab, her next session is tomorrow, last week she was swimming with just a woggle and using her arms and legs... so proud of her :)

Had a lovely mothers day...... was very spolit, got chocolate, beautiful necklace, truffles, Help voucher book and a lovely Momijji doll which the girls chose for me..... to addto my collection...

3 New Fishes....

Nearly forgot to tell you :P We got 3 new little fish yesterday, very cute, they have moved in with our exisiting fish and all seem to be getting on very well ;) No fighting at all.... they all look very happy... and the girls are so pleased with them.
