This is my card for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge this week - Food. I have used Magnolia Stamps. The Swirls are Fancy Pants. I have glittered the insides of the flowers on the stamped swirls. Thanks for the challenge - really enjoyed it.

This is my card for this weeks challenge on Spoonfull of Sugar. The challenge was to make a Xmas card... this is the first christmas card I have made this year. All images are Magnolia. I stamped the trees and cut them out and foam mounted them on one level of foam. I then cut out Tilda and mounted her on 3 levels of foam to give her real lift. I have glittered her boots, snowball and bobble.... I really enjoyed making this card - thanks for the challenge:)

Still getting used to all this ME time or not as the case may be :P

After a number of comments from DH and BIls at the weekend, I actually washed and polished my car yesterday, first time EVER I have done it myself, I usually cheat and take it to the local drive thru handwash.... BUT NO I did it myself.... and I quite enjoyed it - but SShhhh dont tell DH - I took the piccie to prove I HAD done it....

Another week - and my phone still isnt fixed :( - I have been taking part in the challenges this week and they are all on my phone waiting to be uploaded... as soon as its working again I will upload them for you to see :)

I have been told off for not blogging - sorry guys - as I have no challenges to share with you... I will have to chat instead... ;)

Busy week this week, the girls eventually went back to school, after over 11 weeks off... they are back and I have ME time for the first time in 11 years..... woo hoo.... It was very sad to see Nic going to school but she is so ready for it and really really loves it.... lets hope it stays like that...

So what else have we been up to this week... Monday - we went on the train to see my Mum, she was looking good, still makes me sad tho to see her shuffling along :( had a good chat, made her smile lots... so well worth the 5 hours travelling to brighten her day, and her week :) Tueaday went to have Lunch at one of the new Reception Mums house, Nic got to meet lots of the new peeps in her class, they all got on fab and we had a lovely time, the Mums all seem really nice too... Wednesday - uniform buying, nothing like leaving it till the last minute :P school shoe shopping.... managed to get all 3 girls sorted with school shoes in the first shop we went to... and there was me worrying that we would be trekking around the shops.... Thursday was the girls first day back at school and my first day for 11 years with NO little ones, I went to meet the 'new' reception Mums for coffee after drop off... and so glad I did as it gave me something to think about, Dh even came on the first drop off.. which was really nice and I reckon was the reason there were no tears from me.... as my rock was there with me. Friday spent the day sorting, cleaning, tidying and shopping... not much fun but SO needed doing.... and yesterday it was CROP day... another day for me... very spoilt this week.... and today we went for a lovely walk this morning with the dogs, then lunch and watching the FI *yawn* and then a trip to B&Q for wallpaper for sitting room.... went to put it up tonight, and guess what - no step ladders, Dh has taken them to the office... good get out Dh... so thats why Im here not decorating.... hopefully will be back tomorrow with lots of piccies for you... ciao for now x

Hi we are still here, havent been washed away just yet... having a couple of technical hitches with my phone at the mo, have done the challenges tho and will post pictures as soon as I can :) Just here for a quick update on the new challenges to keep me busy... and you never know might have a go at the ATC challenge.... very very tempted even tho I dont make ATCs at the mo :P

Here is my card for the Magnolia Emboss challenge..... I ahve used my new birthday cutlebig embossing folder, I only got it from the show yesterday and used it already.... see I did NEED that :P - Have coloured the image with my promarkers. The ribbon on the card IRL matches beautifully and co-ordiniates with the colours on Tilda.. however on this piccie it doesnt look as good :(

Here is my card for this weeks Papertake Weekly challenge.This weeks challenge is "A stitch in time", the stitching can be real or faux.... - i have used faux for mine :P there is the stitching around the edge of the image and also stitching for the stems of the flowers and leaves for the flowers - I have used my new sweet ebony sugar stamp coloured with my promarkers..... sentiment has been made using my birthday embossing folder on my cuttlebug and cut out... have really enjoyed this challenge - thanks :)

I have also posted another two pictures of this card - it is a 'gate fold' card...... correct me if Im wrong.... still new to this :P

MIL came to visit the other day and brought her chinese card making bits with her..... so I had a play, as you do, and made this card - the chinese lady is from Woodware stamp set.... made the background using the other litle stamps that came with the set. The picture is mounted on 3d pads to lift it and the chinese lady is also stuck down with 3d pads to give effect. The background papers are handmade chinese papers. All coloured with my promarkers :)

This is one of the first challenges I have taken part in..... The challenge was to create a card using the sketch.

I must apologise for the photo, for some reason the right hand side of photo has been cut off - my laptop has died and am having to use the Apple and cant figure out why - only seems to do it on the landscape ones :(

I have used Art from the Heart Citrus Papers for this card. The base is washed orange, then rectangle one is green and yellow stripes and rectangle two is spots with orange stripes... you can see the rectanges more distincly IRL,,,,, The image is Sugar Nellie Sweet Ebony Birdhouse stamp.

Thanks for the challenge - I thoroughly enjoyed doing it :)

I have made this card using my Magnolia Swing and swinging Tilda stamp. I have attached the swing to the background card with 3d dots and then have attached Tilda to the swing using foam pads to give 3d efffect. I have coloured the image using my promarkers. The flowers were stamped and then cut out and then crumpled to give effect.

I have made this card using my Sweet Ebony Sweet and Sassy stamp. I have coloured the image using my promarkers. The background paper was black and white hand drawn style and I have coloured it to match the image using my promarkers. I think it looks stunning done like this and will have to look out more black and white papers to have a go again. The sentiment has been stamped and attached to a chipboard to match the papers.

Have coloured the image using my new Promarkers.... have to say I am SO pleased with them and have to confess to being quite addicted to colouring using them :P any time I can grab 5mins during the day I am there colouring away....

Weekend in Blackpool

We went to stay with our best friends this weekend in Blackpool. Had a fab weekend, lots of fun... in fact the fun started on the way there, we have only been to stay at our friends house a couple of times, so decided to use the Sat Nav on my phone for directions, got the addy from the address book and put it in the Sat Nav and away we go..... just coming off the motorway and the phone dies :( - we realise we have no addy, no idea of the town they live... nightmare - no problem tho as we can use DD phone.... get it out bag and ho hum its died as its been left on.... so what do we do.... no idea where we are going and no phone.... oh well.. we carry on our way thinking that we might recognise the place when we get closer, after nearly an hour of driving around we decide that we really dont know so had better get an action plan sorted..... we have packed the charger so need to find a socket to charge it, so drive to the train station, they always have plugs in the waiting rooms, dont they ???? NO not this one - we then stumble across the local leisure centre and the kind receptionist lets us plug the phone in and we manage to call friend to rescue us....... saved........................

Cant believe how PANTS the weather was this weekend.... it rained constantly on Saturday and eventually stopped at 5.30pm... so we went for a lovely walk by the river.

On Sunday we decided to go to the seafront...... and being usual Brits.... the kids wanted to paddle in the sea...... wind blowing, rain spitting, macs on and the kids went paddling... typical British summertime.... lol.... kids had a great time tho ;)

Train Ride

I decided to brave it and took the girls to see my Mum on the train, they were really well behaved and coped well with the long journey so we will definitely be doing it again ;) My Mum was SO pleased to see them too - and we even got to spend the day with my Niece Katie...... we had a lovely day, the weather was fab too and the girls all played in the garden. My Mum was looking a little better when we saw her today..... and was over the moon to see the girls.... smiles all round which has to be the best medicine ever :)

We had a fab trip on the way out, managed to find our seats and were all sat together round a table - which is fab - although we were in the 'Quiet' Coach - but the girls coped well and were quiet as mice all the way there, there were whispering to each other and being SOOOO quiet I was very proud of them... I was a bit miffed however that they had reserved us seats in the 'Quiet' coach.... but ho hum..... we then came to find our seats on the way back - the train was packed and our seats were very spread out and had someone else sitting in them... so we decided to go and hunt for some spare seats closer together... thats when the fun began, the train was hurtling along, the little ones were falling all over the show, we treked from coach to coach and eventually ended up in the 'Quiet' coach again... with 4 seats together but facing the wrong way...... Chloe soon began to feel sick so we decided at the next stop to find our seats and move the people that were in them.... so off we go again..... we ended up waiting in the restaurant coach with the friendly guy in there - and we got talking - and thats when we found out that the 'Quiet' coach just means no music or phones... BUT you CAN talk...... how funny....

Yesterday was Birthday Time again..........

Had a fab birthday today, - thanks for all the good wishes :) DH had the day off work which was fab and we went to Manchester for the day. We went to the Lowry and even went to the Shopping Mall there... had a fab time in Paper place and got lots of yummy card for card making and lots of other goodies ;)

Had some fab pressies too, more momiji dolls for the collection, fab Armani perfume, chocs, CD, DVD, lots of nice jewellery and 3 sets of fab promarkers oh and smellies..... cant have a birthday without smellies ;) - heres a few of the Momijis I got ;)

and my fave perfume I had :)

The girls made me a fab breakfast in bed, fresh strawberries, pancakes with syrup and a fabby hot chocolate with whipped cream, marshmallows and grated chocolate (a Simpsons special apparently ;P)

I definitely had a special fab birthday ;)

What have we been up to...... ummmm

Tuesday - another fab sunny day.... went to the Park and met some friends, had a lovely time :)

Wednesday - went to visit friends, had a fab time playing in the garden, in the paddling pool, water fights, bouncing on the trampoline....

Thursday - more friends round for the afternoon and tea...... more fun.... and more coffee and chatting for the Mums...

and today.... had a day at home just the 4 of us.... been crafty today, glass painting, and more baking..... was really nice to chill as had some busy days this week.....

Picked up the girls from MIL today, they had been to stay since Thursday.... they had a fab time :) and we had a fabby kid-free weekend... we were going to go away but decided to stay at home instead....... and enjoy the peace and quiet.... had a wonderful few days and feeling nice and refreshed ;) - went out for some lovely meals, I didnt cook once.... (even DH cooked once..... swwon:P) went on a couple of trips to the cinema and saw Hancock (soooo funny)

and Batman (much better than I was expecting)

and also went to Manchester for the day and went to the Body Worlds exhibition... it was fascinating......

back to normality now tho... DH back at work and girls now back home :)

It is Tilda with baby.... made as a christening card for my niece, but I then decided at the last minute to make her a christening card with the Jolees Christening gown I had which was simply divine ....

When I was blog hopping the other night I came across the Tilda Challenge Blog http://magnoliachallengeblog.blogspot.com/ so thought I would join in this weeks challenge. It was lots of fun, I really enjoyed it and will definitely be joining in again :) Might also have a search for some similar card making challenge blogs ;) so if anyone know of any please letme have a link ;)

The challenge for this week was to do 'stitching' on your card. I made a birthday card and hand stitched the writing on the card.... it took a while... also stitched around the edges too... Hope you like it :)

Yes, we've had more snow.... quite bizarre tho.... lots of snow on the trees, grass, roofs and cars but none on the road or pavement ;) It looked very pretty :)

Nic seems better today and ate some roast for tea..... so hopefully we have now turned a corner and she is on the road to recovery.... :)

Poorly Girl :(

Nic's a poorly girl - it started Weds lunchtime, Nic just lay on the sofa feeling very sorry for herself.... she said her head really hurt and so did her heart :( I was a bit worried about the heart bit so made her a Doc appt, we went to the docs this morning and he checked Nic over, we were in there over 25 mins...... phew....... he checked her heart and said it seemed fine and it might be due to her very high temp but to keep an eye on it.... he then checked her ears... pink.. but not too inflammed, in then checked in her mouth and couldnt believe it... she has severe tonsillitius, very very swollen, inflammed and full of puss :( and also very swollen glands and a rash in her mouth (which they think might be glandular fever :(), we got some strong pencillin for her but couldnt get her to keep it down - she was sick straight away - so we went back and changed it for some Cefaclor - managed to get 4ml down her - but tonight she has had an allergic reaction to it :( shes got very red swollen lips, and is covered in Nettle rash :( not good.... so back to the docs in the morning..... ho hum... another sleepness night

April Fools Day today and it was lunchtime before I realised... so no April Fool pranks here :(

Spent a lovely day today with our friends, Helen, Jessica and Amy. We had lunch, and the girls all played while Helen and I caught up and drank coffee (it has to be done dont you know)... and then we headed to Wilmslow for a girlie shop. We spent nearly an hour in Claires while the girls chose treats.... they had a fab time and then came home to do a makeover.

Had a lovely weekend, went car hunting on Saturday morning, still not sure what to get, at the car showroom they had an open weekend which was a nice surprise, the girls had their faces painted and we had BBQ lunch..... then we popped to the farm to see the new arrival......... 10 baby ducks... they were very cute.... bit smelly tho :P then back home and round to Sarah and Pete's for tea with the kids.... had a lovely evening... and came home, put the kids to bed and went to bed ourselves..... getting old you know :P

Today have had a nice relaxing day, the girls have had lots of fun playing, we went to the valley and took the dogs for a nice walk... completely wore them out...... ;) and had a nice roast for tea.... diet starts again tomorrow.... after Easter... have been invited to a Fashion Show with clients.... arrggghhhh and need to look good.... :P thats not going to happen :P

Have got a busy week this week... meeting up with lots of friends... chockablock week..... going to go for a swim now.. will try and put some photos on tomorrow for you ;)

Its raining, its pouring, the Old Man is snoring..... well actually NO he's got to work LOL;)

OK.... so who is it that has dumped all their washing at my place..... we cant possibly have this much on our own.... surely....... 6 laundry bags full.... not even half way down the first yet and already on load 3 :(

Seem to be taking 2 steps forward and 3 back at the mo.... keep tidying up and then within minutes the rooms are trashed again.... the fun of school holidays..... I SO wanted to try and get on top of the house this week.... think the only chance of that will be getting a ladder and climbing on the roof.... LMAO.....

Its crop night tonight..... so a little time for me.... although I have nothing packed and no energy to get anything sorted.... ho hum.....

My Tildas came today.... and my they are SOOOO cute... can see lots of cards coming from them... ;) even had a play already... (sshhhhh dont tell ;))....... I LOVE them.....

Right off to get dressed up in our all weather gear - then off to walk the dogs..... fun oh fun x

Yes, thats right..... we have had snow.... on Easter Sunday.....

We had snow today to.... LOTS and LOTS well about 2 inches which is lots and lots for here :P..... was up and dressed and at the park by 8.30am... made a snow throne, snowman, had snowball fights, easter egg hunts in the snow... some fab piccies....;) and then came home, changed and dried off and then up to the farm for serious sledging... they had about 4 inches... I feel like Ive walked for miles...... it was fab fun tho ;) C and I went crashing into a fence at one point, laughs all round...... it was brill fun.... when the girls went to bed they said - it was the BEST EASTER EVER.... which completely made my day... especially as I am feeling pants now.... still not recovered from lurgy - 6 weeks tomorrow :( and hence why Ive been such a bad blogger - sorry guys - right off to watch a film and chill to recover... will hopefully have enough energy tomorrow to upload photos.... ;)

Some of the chicks on the team were feeling down yesterday, must be something in the air, as I was too..... I saw Helen and she was feeling down too - we reckon its the weather... anywho - we have decided to write down a 'thing' a day to cheer us up - either something that has made us smile or something to be thankful for....... so here goes...

Elaine,Simon and Jonathan came to stay for the weekend and brought little Millie with them too, she was very good, Copper and Pippin are exhausted today tho and have spent most of the day sleeping after playing with Millie all weekend and not getting any peace and quiet to snooze;)

Had a lovely weekend, Helen,Keith and and the girls came over too and we had a lovely time, just like the old days, the kids all played nicely together, we went on a lovely walk on Saturday and then chilled on Sunday.... had a competition on the Wii with Mario Olympics for the adults on Saturday night..... it was fun, the lads were very competitive tho;) I decided after last weekends takeaway and me putting a lb on that I would do the cooking... Andy made homemade lemon meringue on Sunday and custard icecream which was very yummy.....

Weighed in today and had lost 2lbs.... very chuffed...... after this weeks lose (yep I counting on another lose :P) I will eventually be back under the next stone like I was before the new scales arrived ;) so I need to stay nice and motiviated...... am going to have a think of some yummy things to have for tea......

Nicole has started a swimming course, Little Dippers, as is doing fab, her next session is tomorrow, last week she was swimming with just a woggle and using her arms and legs... so proud of her :)

Had a lovely mothers day...... was very spolit, got chocolate, beautiful necklace, truffles, Help voucher book and a lovely Momijji doll which the girls chose for me..... to addto my collection...

Earthquake

Well the earth certainly moved for me last night.... oh er misus :P

We had an earthquake, the biggest for 25 years.... hit 5.2 on the ricta scale..... it was jsut before 1am and the whole bed, room, cupboards, ornaments shook.... scary..... Chloe woke up and came running into our room, Lauren and Nicole however slept thru it.......

Been a bit of a bad blogger at the moment, dont seem to have 5 mins, have been working at the office all last week while Nic was at school, and worked Monday this week.... have got today off to catch up with jobs and meetings tomorrow and Fri morning ;).... have got Elaine, Simon,Jonathan and Millie coming to stay for the weekend, really looking forward to it :)

Its crop night tonight, so might not get on the computer later, seem to be so tired at the moment, so am trying to get to bed earlier......

Diet is going OK, had a weekend off tho, had lost 1 lb on friday BUT after the weekend of having chinese, proper sunday lunch and dessert on weigh in on Monday had put 1 lb on ...... didnt particularly enjoy the chinese which makes it even worse :P, am being very good this week.... and am even going to cook for everyone at the weekend rather than getting a takeaway...

What a lazy blogger.... :(

Half term week for us last week.... didnt seem to get five minutes... had a great week, went caching at the weekend and find 5 caches and a coin, then Monday met up with friends at the park, then off to Blackpool to stay with BFs while Andy was working, had a fab time, Tuesday went to the beach, it was glorious weather, came back Tuesday night. Wednesday had a lazy morning at home, kids played and I got the jobs done, then off to the park in the afternoon. Thursday went to friends house, Lauren got a Valentines Card (wit woo), and had a lovely romantic family meal in the evening. Friday met up with more friends. Saturday went to a family party to meet cousin from Germany new little twins.... had a great time and then today... geocaching again, hid the coin and found another coin and another 5 caches... weather was gorgeous again, lots of fresh air.... back to school/work tomorrow for everyone.... have had a very good diet week.... had fish and chips on Monday at friends house and felt SO sick afterwards... and had cake for dessert on Tuesday night after dinner but besides that have been very good even tho its been half term.... insert polishes halo smilie... am hoping for another good loss tomorrow.... will report back .... promise.... bye for now ;)

Lots of posts today.... nearly forgot to report what I have had to eat today....

Today was a green day again - Brekkie was an Alpen light bar and a banana..... lunch was a jacket potato and beans and the half of the remains of last nights cold rice pudding with a pear. I met Fi at Costa this afternoon for a coffee... and was very good just had a medium filter with a splash of skim milk and no treats at all ;) Tea was Fish (HE B), SW chips and mushy Peas... followed by the other half of the remains of last nights cold rice pudding with a pear.... followed by another Alpen Light bar (HE B) (HE A's today were laugh cow cheese in jac pot and milk in rice pudding) - treat tonight is choccie.... so considering how 'pants' I am feeling after the scale problem am pleased with myself for not going OTT... and thinking sod it... as I used to do.... this time I am really going to be the slim me I was pre-kids.... and even those silly scales are not going to stop me neh neh neh neh neh :P

Charity Day

Today was Charity Day at school, this years Charity was the Lifebox appeal. The girls did a sponsored skip around the school, paid £1 to come dressed up as 'someone who helps us' and the Juniors put on lots of stalls for the children to go to, fair type stalls and Year 3 brought in cakes to sell.... Chloe did a Treasure Hunt stall with a chocolate fountain (with Chloe you knew Chocolate would be involved somewhere:P) to dip marshmallows in after you had had your go....... Here are a couple of piccies of Chloe as a pirate and Lauren as a Doctor... as usual Chloe is posing... and a tired little LJ isnt too keen of having her piccie taken at all, and Nic joined the photo to pretend to be the patient :P

China Day

Tuesday was China Day at School, in celebration of the Chinese New Year, all Chloe's year dressed up in Chinese clothes or just bright clothes and did Chinese themed activites... I managed to get a beautiful handmade chinese outfit for Chloe to wear, thanks ebay :P and I did her hair in spiral twists each side of her head, et al chinese lady style.... here's a quick piccie, Chloe posing as usual :P......

Having a scales problem at the moment, they have gone MAD.....

As you know, have been having a scales problem, was hoping they would be fine this morning, but no.... I got on the scales this morning and I was 4lb heavier.... and so was Andy...... so its definitely the scales and not me... but no matter how many times I got on and off they didnt change... so what should I do.... weigh myself on Monday and then go from there for what I lose next week - I dont want to say I have put on 4lbs as that will completely de-motivate me.....Andy is highly amused by it all - and says is that all I have got to worry about..... and quite frankly at themoment YES.... :P ......

I moved the scales all round the rooms last night, and it was amusing as I got DH to get on each time as well... moved them from the carpet in bathroom to the tiles in bathroom and put on half a stone, then moved them into the dressing room.... and lost a stone..... (like that place:) ) then moved them to the Gym and went down to 5 stone something as the floor is cushioned (liked there even more ) then moved them into our lounge in our room and they went to 6 stone something..... back to original place in the bathroom - still got the 4 lbs on.... Maybe If I lose any over the weekend, that could be this weeks loss and then go from there ..... grrrrrrrr

Nearly Human....

Starting to feel a little more human now.... well as human as I can be :P

Had a major scales disaster this morning,weighed myself, and have put on 5 lbs.... two days of being sick and not eating and its only me that could have put on weight... SO NOT impressed :( got Andy to weigh himself too and he had put on 5 lbs since yesterday too..... so its then scales.... or is it... changed the battery - still weighing the same... my weight from has disappeared..... moved the scales to the tiled area and that was a mistake - put on half a stone :( so now I dont know where I am, Andy thinks I should stop stressing about how much I am or am not lossing. but I need to keep track... not sure what I should do :(

Had a bizarre food day, it was green..... coffee and alpen light bar this morning, 3 krisprolls and cheese for lunch and a Mug Shotz.... attempted to make butternut soup but it was blergh... so binned that...... had pesto pasta for tea, had two forkfuls and couldnt eat anymore... that was blergh too....... was going to cook rice pudding, but thought NO I'll make macaroni on the hob instead, (definitely think that thought is over-rated :P), anywho... macaroni doesnt go like rice pudding in a pan does it.... so I had a pan of cooked macaroni in milk.... nice... not... so just strained the milk out and am now cooking rice in the milk... and have just mixed a tsp of nutellla (2 syns) with a bowl of hot cooked macaroni... and how yum.... a yummy dessert made in error - go on - have a go..... its yum yum yum... nice and chocolately and really really nice and really naughty.... am going to get DH to share a packet of ready salted crisps with me.... feeling blergh..... and need to start trying toeat properly again....

Its Charity Day at school tomorrow, Lauren is going as a Doctor as the theme of the day is 'people who help us' all money from the day is going to the Lifebox charity that sends life boxes to places that have had natural disasters... Chloe is going as a Pirate, not quite with the people who help theme - but her group is doing a Treasure Map as a stall to raise money with a chocolate fountain, so they are all going dressed as pirates.... and what a scrap-a-holic am I, I have persuaded Chloe to go as a pink pirate as I have seen some gorgeous Rusty Pickle Pinnk Pirate paper.... that would be fab for a layout... how sad :P but it is yum.....

Not been feeling great the last couple of days, think the bug has caught up with me, although I think I am doing a good job of fighting it..... not feeling good at all but no way near as bad as Andy was ;)....

Had a red day yesterday, muller and fruit for brekkie, chicken salad sandwich for lunch and syn free sausage, peas and HE B sw chips for tea.... Andy wasnt well yesterday so it was down to me to make the pancakes, and I have to say I suitably impressed not only the kids but me too... was a fab tosser, say no more :P and the pancakes were scrump-diddly-umptious..... ;) - had two ickle ones, made mine with skimmed milk tho... and fry light....

Today have hardly eaten anything, was sick a few times last night, but thought that was it.... tried to have a muller for brekkie, had a couple of cold sausage, 3 krispbreads with jam..... and bacon and HE B bread for tea... am finding it very hard feeling ill and being ill and still trying to keep to SW..... so not sure how well I have done this week... I know I should forget SW whilst Im not feeling well... but dont want to undo what I have done so far IYKWIM.... :(

Hopefully will be feeling a little better tomorrow :)

Enough about the sickie bug, have also caught the card making bug again too, have decided to start making cards again, and I am really enjoying it... have been playing with my cuttlebug dies and stamps and putting cards together.... not feeling so great now again so going to stop for tonight but will hopefully be back real soon with some piccies of what I have been up to... Have jsut found some stamps that I NEED.... they are called Sugar Nellies and they are just so adorable.... here's apeek :P

Doing the Happy Dance.....

I lost 3 lbs this week ... woo hoo Happy Dance time- so thats 11lbs in 4 weeks now...... ;)

Andy and Nic are poorly with a dreaded sickness bug so had them both at home today,its been quite good tho as Nic has kept Andy company upstairs and I have been able to hide downstairs away from the germs..... Mike, Emily,Paul and Ann have also got it :(....

Have had a busy day today, running up and down stairs to get drinks, and popping to the shop for lucozade :P

Had an almond croissant for brekkie today as my treat with a nice cup of coffee yum.... straight back to it tho, red day today, chicken, lettuce and roll for lunch with muller and half bag of crisp 2.5 syns, tea was HE A cheese on mushrooms, with bbq skewer chicken, roast butternut, rocket, tom and beetroot... yummy.... and choccie treat tonight...... will have gone over my syns with brekkie.. but it was a treat..... ;)

Here's hoping for a good loss again next week... have promised to buy myself a Mumjii doll as my treat for loosing a stone..... so not long to go - hopefully will be going to choose one on Monday ;)

Off to bed now, after a very disturbed night last night with Andy getting in and out of bed all the time, am in need of sleep.....

Officially a Trolley Dolly :P

Im now 'apparently' officially old and embarrassing to be seen with :( Why you might ask, well I am now the proud owner of a Trolley :P I got it at the show today.... and I think its great, its pink with spots and has got fold out wheels at the bottom, and folds up to a small package, I thought it would be fantastic to use on our trips to Waitrose when we always buy too much shopping and then have to struggle home with it all. I was however picked on immensly by all the 'girls', Rachel, Emily, Ann, Jen and even Mary (who I have to add nearly bought one:P), I think its great tho........ even tho the 'girls' walked 5 paces behind me.... when I was using it.... Jen took a piccie of me, so I will share it with you as soon as I can ;) Just been for a visit to Jen's blog, knew it would be on there - thanks Jen, so here is my new bag - awful piccie of me tho.... but you get the idea :P

Well I was very saintly today, took my own lunch to the show, and had no naughtiness at all - I had muller,pear and banana for brekkie, alpen light choc bar for mid am snack, couscous, red pepper, toms, chickpeas for lunch, and rice pudding and apple for mid pm snack, and then came home to yummy roast chicken (B portion), roast pots, and lots of veg.... had small piece of eclair - it was 7.5 syns for whole one and I had not quite a third, so will syn it as 2.5 syns and then a wildlife bar as my treat so 8 syns altogether for today.... jsut going to have a munch on some cheese tho as I havent done very well with my As today BUT I am feeling very pleased with myself, lets hope it shows tomorrow on weigh in day ;) keep everything crossed for me.......

I have got a new friend, Carl the Cuttlebug, I picked him up on our trip out today - I wasnt going to buy one as although they are great, I just didnt need one as I had a sidekick and a zip-e-mate so really couldnt justify getting another die cutter......... BUT I had to in the end to help out - Rachel was after a die cutter and so was Emily, so I suggested as a joke to begin with, that I would sell them mine, and get a cuttlebug, they thought that was a brill idea, and so we did - I sold my old die cutters that I had and got Carl instead.......

Here he is - my new boy.... and he really is fab... ;)

It snowed ;)

We woke up to a nice shower of icing sugar covering the ground this morning:P I was up and ready nice and early for a Saturday, Andy was at the office today so I got up with him when he was getting ready, but the kids had other ideas, no rushing to get dressed and ready at all so much so that by the time we got outside the icing sugar near our house had gone :( so we took the dogs for a walk in the search of snow, found some on the next side street, so armed with our carrier bag ;) - we filled it with snow and then came back home to build a snowman.... he's only small (just over a ft ) but very cute.... not sure what the neighbours thought with our snow collecting tho :P, the kids had loads of fun...

Food today was, muller and apple for brekkie, cheese sandwich for lunch, with handful of quavers 1.5 syns, and a banana and a pear, and tea was SW chips and turkey burger. Feeling very hungry tonight, so going to use my last A in a mo to make some rice pudding ;) Went to two parties today and was very good.... had celery, cuecumber, olive and a dash of hummous ;) Hoping for a lose on Monday after being such a good girl all week :P Just made some yummy roasted chick pea, forgot just how good they taste :) Off to the GMex tomorrow and have just been very good and made a pack lunch to take, cous cous with carrot, chickpeas and tomato and rice with apple for pud ;) Just off to shine my halo and then bedtime - Nite xx

The weekend is nearly here, got a busy one this weekend, Eve is 2 tomorrow - cant believe it, the time has flown by - so we are popping to Rachels for a little party, Im then going to be cheeky and leave Chloe and Lauren there while I take Nic to another party, Andy has an open day at work... so I will meet him at the farm later. Sunday I am off to the Gmex with MIL, Rachel, Emily, Jen and Mary.... Shirley went today wasnt impressed.... so we'll see ;)

Have been busy this morning trying to get sorted in the 'room' down the stairs... have managed to shift quite a few boxes and stuff to new homes, spent all morning down there, and I still cant see ay difference :( - Rach, Charl and Cam came round for coffee and a play this afternoon - it was lovely to see them. Charl and Nic played really nicely - and Cam had fun just walking around, his new found hobby :P Nic then had Becca over for tea and a play after school, they had a lovely time, great start to the weekend;)

Breakfast today was a muller and raspberries, lunch was french toast (3 nimble) and more raspberries, and tea was turkey burgers and half a bread roll, and a pear, have had 2 alpen lights today so am half over on a HE B so will take it as syns - only other syns today were mini bag of choc buttons, and a splodge of ketchup - so 9 syns today....

Have completed my 'b' layout tonight for my BOM for the A-Z challenge, I have done blog... no photo on the layout, was worried that it wouldnt look right, but quite like it :P will post a piccie for you over the weekend - got a banging headache, so off to bed to have a short read then to sleep - nite all x

Last Day of Jan...

Cant believe its the last day of January already, this month has flown by - the weather today has been awful, we have had a bit of everything, rain, sun, wind, hail, thunder, lightening and snow..... all in a day, and its really cold too :P

Today was a green day, breakfast was porridge and apple, lunch was a jacket potato and beans followed by a muller and fruit and tea was quorn, pepper,mushroom and tomato lasagne, came up with a fab topping for the lasagne, I melted down 6 laugh cow x triangles in a pan,very slowly, then added a small amount of skim milk - and then poured it on top of the lasagne before putting in the oven... it was delish.

Cant get on UKS tonight :( so have been bust tidying the room down the stairs to make as a craft room for me.... doesnt really look like I have got very far tho, still cant move in there :(
